Who we are

Information we collect
No accounts
PlusReviews has no user accounts, logins, comments or newsletter sign-ups on the site. We do not ask you to give us personal information to read our content.
Analytics
We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are popular, how visitors find us and which links they click.
Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC, loaded through Google Tag Manager) collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address), your device and browser type, the site that referred you, and clicks on outbound and affiliate links. It uses first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<ID>) to recognize returning visitors; these typically last up to two years. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features, and we do not combine this data with other information to identify you. Google may process this data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly:
- It does not use cookies.
- It does not track you across other websites.
- Data is aggregated, and it is not used to identify individual visitors.
Server logs
Our website is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel automatically processes technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems. These logs are handled by Vercel under its own privacy policy and retained for a limited period.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation.
Cookies
PlusReviews does not set advertising cookies. The only cookies set on our pages are Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_<ID>), used to measure site traffic as described above. You can block or delete them in your browser settings at any time; the site works fully without them.
Affiliate partner cookies
Some links on our site are affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you click one and arrive on a merchant’s website, such as Amazon, that merchant or its affiliate network may set cookies on its own site. These cookies let the merchant know you came from PlusReviews so we can be credited for a qualifying purchase. These cookies are set and controlled by the merchant, not by us, and are covered by the merchant’s own privacy and cookie policies. You can manage or block them through your browser settings or the merchant’s cookie controls.
How we use information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Operate, maintain and secure the website.
- Understand which content is useful so we can improve it.
- Respond to messages you send us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in running and improving a secure website, and, for emails you send, to respond to your request. Where the law requires consent for analytics cookies, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by blocking or deleting cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you (access).
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Because we collect so little, in most cases we will not hold any personal information about you beyond emails you have sent us. To make a request, email contact@plusreviews.net. We may need to verify your request before acting on it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Data retention
We keep emails only as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable records. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (no longer than 14 months for user-level data). Hosting logs and other analytics data are retained by our providers for limited periods according to their policies.

Our guides link to other websites, including retailers and manufacturers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before giving them any information.
Children’s privacy
PlusReviews is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change how the site works or the services we use. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
